Chemical Engineering has to do with industrial processes in which raw materials are processed and separated into the useful products. The behavior of fluids is important to process engineering and constitutes one of the foundations for the study of the unit operations.
The
development of refining and petro-chemical industries in the country has made
it compulsory for the chemical engineers to understand important aspects of
petroleum refining and petrochemical technology. Petroleum refining as well as
petrochemical industries constitute a major part of chemical sector. Every
chemical engineer has to invariably handle the enormous consumption of
petroleum products, their diversity and increasing applications. Beside this, a
chemical engineer must be aware about the various properties of petroleum
fractions as well as petrochemicals.
To make an on-axis response for
the loudspeaker you
will need to set your speaker up
on a stand as far from all reflecting surfaces as possible. You should also try
to find the quietest place to do the measurements as noise added to the response will degrade the results.
A frequency response diagram will give you much more information, because it illustrates the microphone’s sound balance. For instance, if you see a rise in the upper frequencies of, say, 6 dB, you can expect the respective microphone to sound quite bright.
In Basic Electronics Lab we are
having various Electronic Kits in which student can perform variety of
Experiments of Basic Electronics to understand Basic Aspects of Various Electronics
Devices like Diode,Transistor, Field Effect Transistor, Clipper,Clamper,
Rectifier, etc…
In Circuits & Networks Lab we are
having various Equipment to Perform Variety of Experiments like Verification of
Thevenin’s Theorem, Norton’s Theorem, Negative feedback Effect, Two Port
Network Parameters, etc.. So students
can have basic understand various Network Theorems.
The VLSI lab is equipped with the most up-to-date industry standard VLSI
tools and hardware resources. The lab facility includes course lab for course
projects and assignments, testing lab for VLSI testing.
VLSI lab allows the theoretical concepts studied as part of subjects CMOS VLSI Design, Microelectronics Circuits and HDL, to experience in practical with the help of Cadence tool framework. The lab introduces the complete custom IC design flow, ASIC design flow for Digital circuits.
The floor planning, Power planning,
placement and routing can be performed later using Xilinx ISE and CPLD
development platform (ST105). The digital design involves the realization of
various digital circuit components using Register Transfer Logic (RTL) code,
Compilation of the same using Native Compiler, elaboration using elaborator and
simulation using Incisive. The synthesis of the verified RTL code to obtain the
gate level netlist is performed thereon.
Signal
Processing Lab helps students to learn different concepts of signals, systems
and sampling. Different Transforms are taught such as DTFT, DFT and Z. Designing
and Implementation of FIR, IIR, Multirate and adaptive filter is also carried
out thoroughly through simulation.
Image
Processing Lab helps students to learn about modelling of digital images its perception,
2-D sampling and applying Fourier transforms.Practicals on Concept like Image enhancement,
Restoration of Image through different techniques, coding and Compression of
image are highlights of this laboratory.
